Delete your ScrapCut account
If you created a ScrapCut account, you can request deletion of the account and associated account data. Account deletion is permanent once completed.
Delete from the app
- Open ScrapCut on your iPhone.
- Open the Account tab.
- Find the account-management section and choose Delete Account.
- Review the confirmation message and confirm the deletion request.
If the exact wording differs in your installed version, look for the account deletion option inside the Account screen. If you cannot access the app or the deletion control, use the email option below.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot access ScrapCut, email bouya.ayoub1@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account when possible.
Use the subject ScrapCut Account Deletion. We may need to verify that you control the account before acting on a request.
What deletion covers
- Your ScrapCut account/authentication record that we control.
- Account-associated app data held by ScrapCut that is not required to be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention or dispute-resolution reasons.
Local data on your iPhone
Project, inventory and history data stored only on your device can be removed from within ScrapCut where deletion controls are available, or by deleting the app and its local data from the device.
If you use ScrapCut without an account
If you use the app in guest/no-account mode, there is no ScrapCut account to delete. You can remove local app data by deleting the app from your device.
App Store purchases
Deleting a ScrapCut account does not delete your Apple ID, automatically refund an App Store purchase, or erase Apple's purchase records. Eligible non-consumable purchases may remain associated with the Apple ID used to buy them and may be restorable according to Apple's rules.
